I. Introduction
Since Clover is a guild that does a lot of treasure hunting, we pick up quite a few tricks along the way, and the purpose of this book is to share those tips with the rest of the guild, those who are new, or even non-members who are simply visiting. The tips will be listed in numerical order, and the number of these will grow over time as we pick up more.
II. Dungeoning Tips
- Carrying a Good Luck Potion [Made with a Four-Leaf Clover] in your inventory while dungeoning greatly raises your luck and increases your chances of rare dungeon drops such as passes, or huge lucky finishes. Note that the Good Luck Potion changes into a random item after 36 minutes.
- Dungeon Spamming can be made quicker if you bypass switch rooms by hitting each one until the door opens, and running (or hide+running if you're an elf). You will miss out on EXP however.
- You can skip past mimics if you have a dog and yell the command 'Box!'. Your dog will show you which chest carries the dungeon key.
- Baltane (Tuesday) has a daily effect of increased dungeon drop rates.
- When soloing, pets are an invaluable asset. A good pet AI can be found here. Also pressing Shift+Ctrl will allow you to target an enemy that your pet will attack when you click it. Remember to stock your pet with dungeon necessities like potions, bandages, feathers, spare weapons and food.
- Pay attention to the aggro number of each kind of monster. Some monsters, only one will aggro at a time. Others may have two aggro you at the same time. More advanced monsters may have all of the individuals in the vicinity aggro you at the same time. (remember that if you're using your pet, it acts as a separate aggro target; so before you help your pet take care of the monster aggroing it, make sure you're free from being aggroed yourself)
- If you're soloing, and there are multi aggro monsters, you may send your pet after one of the monsters aggroing you while taking care of the other one yourself.
- Do your homework before you enter a dungeon. Mabiworld Wiki is a good reference source. Pay attention to the spawn patterns of each room to help you better prepare ahead of time. (For instance, if you should take some time to heal in a Gray Town Rat room because the next spawn after the rats would be Metal Skeletons).
- Play Dead and Hide are magical wonderful skills. Be creative in their use. (ie. play dead while aggroed and use pets to divert their aggro, or immediately Hide after playing dead after an adequate amount of time has passed)
I will start up a schedule of activities to better organize things so you KNOW what we're doing on each day. On days when there are no planned projects, you may regard those as free days, to pursue whatever it is you're currently pursuing, whether it be an item, skill training, leveling up, etc.
Imbolic (Sunday) - Arc Lich
Alban Eiler (Monday) - No Planned Projects/Work on Production Skills
Baltane (Tuesday) - Dungeon Drops Day [EJ3/IS2/FB10/IceRose/etc.]
Alban Heruin (Wednesday) - Field Boss Day [Arc Lich/Giant Lion/Sandworms/etc.]
Lughnasadh (Thursday) - No Planned Projects/Prof Training
Alban Elved (Friday) - No Planned Projects
Samhain (Saturday) - No Planned Projects
As a note, I, Ori will be rather busy during the next two weeks, 10-12 to 10-23 because of midterms and projects as well as work. Just because I am absent does not mean that you are not allowed to do anything. Feel free to contact other members of the guild for help with dungeons or quests or whatever.
However, remember that if you choose to pursue an item with the aid of guild members, if you attain that item, you must either hand it over to me with a detailed explanation of who helped out and how much they helped (so I may compensate those members with the funds recieved from the item), or provide adequate compensation for the item if it is for personal use. (I will personally deem what is adequate based on what the item is and the difficulty of its retrieval as well as its current market price [but don't worry, remember guild members recieve a significant discount off of the market price])
Failure to do this will result in your removal from the guild.

Spawns every night from 8 PM to 6 AM(Sundays) / 12 AM to 6 AM (game time) in center of Metus. All weapons will do 1 damage to him, including Ghost Sword. Any ranged attacks, excluding Mirage Missile, will fail against him. The best method is to control the bomb steeds which he spawns by taming/peaceful music/control of darkness or lure them to the lich and letting them blow up 30 seconds after turning red.
- Ice Rose (Must break mirrors first)
- Kirine's Mirror (Before the mirrors are broken)
To lure it out, first the Wendigo which the witch summons must be defeated by a giant using an icicle that drops from the dungeon's ceiling when the Wendigo uses stomp. It is imperative that the giant gets the finishing blow, or else the dungeon will end there. After which the witch will come out. She will have high protection and defense in this state, but may still be defeated. However the Ice Rose will be unavailable. To lower her defense, a human must play the ice flute which may be gotten in a chest earlier in the dungeon successfully to break her mirrors. She will then be powered up and give out high damage. Defeating her after this will allow a small chance for the ice rose to drop.
As you may have read when you joined this group, we said that Clover is a team of elite treasure hunters, and that all our members get paid.
Welcome to Clover new recruit. To survive in this organization, you'll need to know certain things, otherwise you'll find yourself out on your butt alone in the tundra of Physis, while we walk off into the sunrise.
Today.
Everything on this blog will go on Friends/Neighbors Only.
Some people need to move on with their l i v e s.
Some people need to k e e p a w a y from my thoughts.

COMMENCING MISSION BRIEF
In a previous time, before the officially sanctioned expedition to uncover the shroud of mystery that enveloped Iria, a few explorers managed to make their way across the sea and explore this continent.
One such explorer was an ice mage, whose name is now shrouded in mystery, and who has since gone missing in the pages of time. However he left behind a record of his journey, and pages from this journal have been found all across Iria.
In particular, one is of great interest to Clover. We are hoping to obtain the third page of this poor explorer's journal. We believe that the third page of this journal carries with it, a diagram which is most likely a key to unlocking the ancient secrets of the Karu Forest Ruins. However this is only a rumor that has been whispered to us, so we have no way of knowing its truth. Still, regardless, an expedition is underway to retrieve this page. We have financial backers who are willing to pay us a great sum of money in order to obtain this page for their private collection.
The actual page is of no interest to us, only its information so there will be no qualms about delivering the document to individual hands. Aside from that fact, the acquisition of the manuscript page will award us with approximately 1.5 to 2 million gold for our guild funds.
It has come to our attention that obtaining the page will be no easy task, and will involve a large number of man hours, and effort. It is said that the page is in the clutches of the glowing beasts which dwell in the deepest parts of Karu Ruins, and in order to obtain it, they must first be defeated. However, reaching deep enough into the ruins to face these beasts is a difficult task in and of itself.
We have decided for ease of handling, to take on the weaker of the glowing beasts, the Glowing Pot-Belly Spider.
Our chain of tasks include:
Obtain a Glowing Spider collection book[Complete]- Obtain a Glowing Fang [Complete]
- Obtain a Glowing Spider Leg [Complete]
- Obtain a Glowing Pincer [Complete]
- Obtain a Glowing Pot [Complete]
- Obtain a Glowing Venom Sac [Complete]
- Create a Glowing Pot Belly Spider Statuette [Complete]
- Defeat the Glowing Spider
Obtaining each piece includes completing a different gauntlet of the Forest Ruins and collecting each piece by defeating the giant spider at the end.
Each piece, as well as the final prize has only a chance of dropping, and it is not certain that we will get the drop at the end of each run. However, during the season of Baltane (Tuesday), there is a higher chance that the pieces and page will drop. Due to this, we will only attempt the final dungeon during Baltane where there is less chance that our efforts will be for naught.
So, from this date forward, it is our task to begin collecting the glowing parts to complete the statue. I wish you all the very best of luck and I assure you, we will come out the better for it.

BRIEFING COMPLETE.
Listened to lots of Rona Kenan today. I think I may become a fan. The six blurbs for Natalie's and my foreign music article are below. I haven't listened to Natalie's bands yet. (It should be obvious which ones they are.) I'm a bit concerned because four of these are rock, including all three of mine, even after I said, "We should try to do different genres." Dx I was originally going to have Swedish folk, but Garmarna has been inactive for a while, so I switched to Eurodance, but I don't really like Basshunter's music apart from "Boten Anna" and "Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA," so I switched to Rona Kenan, whom I didn't think counted as rock, but evidently, she does.
But 'sall good, 'sall good. I cut the article to 42 lines. I'm so proud of myself.
England – Deportivo
Deportivo is a fairly new London band, whose music is influenced by 80's English pop musicians. Although they have not yet released a CD, their music "has honesty and integrity" as Brad Middleton, from Last Broadcast, put it, "… [and] there's definitely potential for real success here."
Germany – Tokio Hotel
Extremely popular in the German-speaking world and successful across Europe, alternative rock band Tokio Hotel's tunes range from headbang material to soft rock ballads. Their first English-language album, Scream, consists of translations of their German songs.
Finland – Apocalyptica
While the bulk of metal artists use electric guitars, the distinctive progressive metal band Apocalyptica uses cellos and drums. Formed in 1993, the band is still as strong as ever, despite numerous member changes.
Israel – Rona Kenan
Rona Kenan is known in Israel for her warm, smooth voice and the understated elegance of her catchy yet haunting Hebrew- and English-language tunes. Taking influences from countless genres, her music is as diverse as it is unusual.
China – Xiao Yu
Identified by his chic hair and unique style, Xiao Yu worked in the shadows of other famous artists before the release of his eponymous debut album on Jan. 25. Xiao Yu takes on all roles in his album, including composing, writing, arranging, rapping and singing, for a style completely his own.
Japan – girugämesh
Chaotic and inspiring, girugämesh blends soaring melodies and screaming vocals to create their own brand of alternative metal. The addicting quality of their music will have you singing along, whether you understand the lyrics or not.

Show us your job.
I don't have a real job, but I'm on staff at Equivalency, a manga-based Fullmetal Alchemist TCG, and Trading Academy, a Japanese anime/manga/game TCG. The former isn't open yet, but I make chapter decks, and I'll eventually be making black and white character decks and managing Sunday, monthly, and ongoing games. For the latter, I'm a card maker, although none of my decks have been released yet. (There's a huge backflow of unreleased decks, which has caused the owner, Rahenna, to release seven decks this week instead of three.) I used to manage Card Claim, which had better pay, but the TCG needed more card makers, so my superior, Mamori, requested that I become a card maker. I get paid in cards, haha. xD Three random cards per deck, plus an extra credit grade, which can be traded for a card of choice.
TCGs are so pointless but so much fun. I started playing them in eighth grade, I think, but I stopped playing for a long time and rediscovered them last August. Right now, my favorites are Trading Academy and DuckSoup!, a video game TCG. I keep trying to get some of my real life friends to play them, but I guess they're too pointless. Dx Yuji and my sister both started playing Trading Academy, but Yuji stopped after one update (she had more fun making her trade post), and my sister is now on hiatus before reaching Level Two.
I take consolation in the knowledge that my trade post is very attractive. And Robin says that gradients don't look good on websites. Hah! He just doesn't know how to use them well.
(Subject is from Smam's latest update at DuckSoup!, lol.)
